REGISTRATIONS OPENING 7 AUGUST 2022

There are a few changes coming this season.

Goodbye CricHQ
NZ Cricket has recently terminated its arrangement with CricHQ. NZC have used cricHQ as the master database for all cricketers in New Zealand as well as providing the online scoring and playing statistics for all games and players in those games that were scored online.

Hello PlayHQ
NZ Cricket has committed to PlayHQ to replace CricHQ. Therefore, from this season forward, PlayHQ will be used for online scoring, player stats and as NZ Cricket’s master database of registered cricketers.

PlayHQ is an Australian application designed for multiple sports and currently being rolled out by Cricket Australia, Netball Australia and Hockey New Zealand amongst many other sporting organisations.

NZ Cricket has mandated that all players must be registered in PlayHQ as well as in any registration system that Clubs may choose to use.

What does this mean for Grafton?

We will continue to use Friendly Manager as our club administration software  All members will need to register as normal but will also need to register on PlayHQ. Annoying as it is, everyone will need to do it this season and the PlayHQ process should only take a couple of minutes.

More information will follow.
