The opportunity

Grafton United is Auckland's central city cricket club and has a proud history that dates back to 1862 and is known for its modern and innovative approach to developing cricket within the inner city and central west suburbs.

We are seeking a dedicated club administrator to support club management in the running of the club. As a key part of our operational team, your skills will enable the club to continue to ensure all our members and presented with the best possible operational service and support and continue to develop our strong community relationships.

The Club Administrator is responsible for:

  • Membership support - provide exceptional support to our members and their whanau
  • Event management - develop and grow the club as a corporate and event venue
  • Community growth - develop relationships alongside our key community stakeholders, including schools, other local clubs, local iwi and hapu
  • Coaching programmes - assist the club coaches to ensure our programmes are well-promoted and operate seamlessly
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of the club, including ensuring all systems and procedures are well followed, alongside providing support in managing the club’s finances (Xero)

The role will report to the Club Manager and work alongside club committees and club coaches, providing support to their responsibilities.

As the ideal candidate, you will possess excellent people, communication, and organisational skills, as well as a passion for supporting the Club within the community.
