Summer Series

Overview

The Summer Series competition, previously the Club of Origin, is seen as a step up from the regular Saturday club competitions, an additional playing opportunity that has a more developmental lens that engages college players with their clubs.

Notes

Grafton is looking to enter multiple teams in both the competitive (blue) and development (white) grades.

The grades can have anywhere from 1-3 pools depending on the size and strengths of the teams at the club.

January Multi-Day Tournament

Competitions

Under 13 - Limited Overs Series (40 overs)

• Five Sundays between November and March (see dates above)
• Max 10 players - 9 plus a '12th man'
• 40 overs per innings
• Pitch Length: 18m stump to stump (full length after Christmas)
• Game time: 6 hours approx (start 9.30 am Sundays)

Under 15 - Limited Overs Series (40 overs)

• Five Sundays between November and March (see dates above)
• Max 12 players - 11 plus a 12th man
• 40 overs per innings
• Pitch Length: Full length
• Game time: 6 hours approx (start 9.30 am Sundays)

Under 17 - Limited Overs Series (40 overs)

• Five Sundays between November and March (see dates above)
• Max 12 players - 11 plus a 12th man
• 40 overs per innings
• Pitch Length: Full length
• Game time: 6 hours approx (start 9.30 am Sundays

January Tournaments

Under 15 - T20 Tournament

• Multi-Day Tournament in January 2025
• Dates: January 2025
• Venue: Central/East venue TBC, North West venue Huapai Domain
• 3-day tournament
• 2x T20 games per day

Under 17 - T20 Tournament

• Multi-Day Tournament in January 2025
• Dates: January 2025
• Venue: Keith Hay Park
• 3-day tournament
• 2x T20 games per day

Under 17 - T20 Girls Tournament

• Multi-Day Tournament in January 2025
• Dates: January 2025
• Venue: Keith Hay Park
• 3-day tournament
• 2x T20 games per day

Eligibility criteria

Players need to be under 13, 15, 17 as at 1 April 2025

Players can only play in one age group per season, except for U13 players playing in the U15 T20 tournament
