We remember Mike de Lautour

It is with sadness to inform you of the passing of our Patron Mike De Lautour. Our condolences go out to Chris and the family (including his grandson Archie Gothard who played his first premier game for Grafton last Wednesday.

A brief history of Mike at Grafton

Vale PETER MICHAEL (MIKE) DE LAUTOUR, our patron who made a huge contribution to GUCC across 70 years.

Mike passed away on Saturday 14 December after an innings of 87, including being a player, coach, administrator and life member.

Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with friends and family, particularly his daughter Chris and grandson Archie who continue the family’s long association with Grafton.

Our senior teams observed a minute’s silence for Mike prior to our matches this weekend.

A service for Mike will be held at St Mark’s Anglican Church, 95 Remuera Rd, Auckland on Thursday 19 December 2024 at 2pm. Correspondence to cdel@xtra.co.nz
