Cricket skills 1

2 ball 1 hand juggle for 1 min each side

3 ball/object juggle 1 min (if it is too easy, try balancing on one leg)

Shadow batting (Facing Mirror if possible) - Watch your bat swing path and angle of the middle of the bat. Imagine hitting the ball in the middle and exactly where you want it to go each time.

  • 100 bat, edge or stump keep ups

  • 100 excellent forward defences (Kane Williamson Standard)

  • 100 excellent On Drives (Kane Williamson Standard)

  • 100 excellent Cover Drives (Kane Williamson Standard)

  • 100 Defensive push into a gap (Kane Williamson Standard) 

  • 100 back foot punch or defence (Kane Williamson Standard)

  • 20 full power “4” shots swing (Go outside, in a clear space)

  • 20 full power “6” shots swing (Go outside, in a clear space)

Cricket Skills 2 

2 ball 1 hand juggle for 1 min each side

3 ball/object juggle 1 min (if it is too easy, try balancing on one leg)

Bowling

(Can be on a field to someone or against a wall or fence)

  • 2 overs standing start

  • 2 overs 3 steps walk up

  • 2 overs medium run-up

  • 2 overs full run-up + 1 each week

 Batting with partner

  • 50 shadow batting shots of choice

  • 50-100 bat, edge or stump keep ups

  • 50 underarm forward defence drops

  • 50 straight drives (1 bounce back to partner)

  • 50 underarm back foot defence drops

  • 50 rebound hit against wall or fence (make sure not to break anything)
