Yippee, it all starts this weekend!

With the cricket underway starting Friday night for some I thought I'd share a photo of Vic Park getting ready for the ....Auckland Marathon! It might well be the first weekend of junior and senior cricket but here at Vic Park it is all about fencing and marques as the crew get the park ready for the ASB Auckland Marathon.

I wouldn't call the fixture clash with our opening weekend ideal but on behalf of Grafton Cricket Club, we wish all those organising, volunteering and competing in this weekends events all the best, go hard, have fun, and look after our park!

On a cricketing front, if you are planning to visit us at the clubrooms on Friday or over the weekend, don't! Call Phil our Club Manager with any questions or queries, he'll be operating out of our mobile office (think car, coffee shop, sidelines at a game).
